About the poet
I have been writing poems for years, simply because I enjoy it and it is "in my blood." Each time I sit down to write, the words seem to just begin to flow, and I am always happy with the end result. The best part of my business is actually watching someone's face as they read what I have written about them, or their loved ones. It is such a blessing to have a job that brings other people happiness, as well as my own!
I think that since I have become a grandmother (Nanny) my heart has been filled with even more creativity. I am also very fortunate to live in the beautiful little town of Magnolia, Texas, where I am truly inspired to write in my own lovely back yard. My husband and I call it "dreamworld."
