“I had no idea what to expect when I asked Debbie help me come up with a poem for my wife’s birthday. I’ve tried to do some poetry over the years and never was any good at it. I felt like I was doing good if I could get a few lines to rhyme but that’s as far as it went. Much to my surprise, Debbie turned out to be the poetry genius. She took bits and pieces of my story about how my wife and I met and how we fell and love and how we ended up where we are today (much more in love), and turned it into the most elegant and beautiful poem I could of imagined. She even framed the poem and took the extra time to add the small details that a guy like me would have never thought of. The poem ended up being a true work of art. When I presented the poem to my wife on her birthday I could tell she loved it by the tears rolling down her face. The words in the poem and how it was put together meant so much to her that she could not contain her emotions. And for my wife to cry is a big deal because she is not an emotional lady at all. I let my dad read the poem before I gave it to my wife and he even started to cry. All I can say is Debbie has a way with words. The poem she made for my wife was more than I could have ever expected. I will definitely be back for more. Thanks Debbie….you are amazing!”

VALENTINES DAY REVIEW....
The work you did has been so well received, not only by my wife, but by everyone that has read it. Every woman that has read your work has cried and every husband that got their wives flowers and candy get smacked for not thinking of something so innovative. I did not know I could still walk with such a strut around my friends and survive the verbal jabs received for making them look bad.
When I got home with the framed poem I let my daughter read it and she had tears in her eyes as she told me that of all the gifts in 28 years of marriage I had given to my wife, this one surpassed all of those. She was so emotional as she read it that I would say it compared to the tears she shed in Paris. Debbie, you have a gift with words and have a unique gift of reading what is sent to you and putting every bit of emotion into the poem that I have felt over these years of marriage.
Thank you so much.

MOTHER'S DAY REVIEW:
I decided that a poem for my mother on mother's day would be the perfect gift, to let her know in words how I appreciate her on her mother's day. With a few simple questions, Debbie Meyer skillfully and creatively wrote a poem specific to my relationship with my mother. I will be honest in saying I wasn't expecting much, just something small, simple, and sweet. What I received, however, was a heartwarming, beautiful, and very thoughtful poem that included details I would have never even thought of, and finished perfectly! I realized after reading the poem the magnitude of Debbie's talent. OH! The anticipation that I endured waiting for Mother's Day to FINALLY give my mother this awesome gift!
Finally, the day came. As my mother read it she kept saying things like "OH yes I remember!" and "I sang that song to you SO MUCH!" and "I'm wearing make-up! I told myself I wouldn't cry!!" With tears welled up in her eyes, my mother looked at me with a smile and choked out "Thank you, Joy. This was SO thoughtful of you, I love you!" I hugged my mom and told her that I loved her too.
Debbie's talent creates more than just poems, it creates moments you cherish and hold on to for the rest of your life. I am thankful that she has stepped up to write poems and share her talent with the rest of the world. Debbie Meyer, you are changing the world for the better one poem at a time.
Thank you,

CHRISTMAS REVIEWS 2010
Debbie
Your poem for Jill was absolutely fantastic. It was perfect. It was her favorite Christmas gift of all time. The only other time I can recall her crying over a gift was when I got down on my knee and asked her to be my wife. I had the boys sit on my lap while she read the poem. They were so excited to hear it.
I will recommend you to any person who wants to give a priceless gift to a loved one.
Thank you! Kurt C., Conroe TX

Dear Debbie,
Thanks so much for the wonderfully funny poem you wrote for Jimmy's 60th birthday. I read it aloud for him and all the guests at his birthday celebration got a kick out of it, as did Jimmy. He was really touched at the memories it brought back for us. Thanks for having it ready in plenty of time. He said it's a keeper!

Debbie, Thank you so much for the poem. I did write it in the grandchildren's book. They are too young to understand it but some day they will. My daughter and son-in-law liked it so much. You took my words and my feelings and put them to verse. Something I could never do. Thank you so much. I love it.

Debbie, the wonderful poem you created for our sister's 60th birthday, with what we think were very few suggestions from us, was OUTSTANDING! It came out beautifully. Our sister, Caroline, was so in awe! She was really overcome and touched. The reflection picture was also a great hit, and finished off the gift perfectly. I liked the frame too. Her husband and parents were also very impressed with your work. When asked of Caroline what were her 2 favorite gifts (she had many) your poem was listed as one of the two. Thank you for all your great efforts!

“My mother-in-law is the hardest person to shop for! Every year she gets the same thing from us for Mother’s Day, her birthday and Christmas. This year for her birthday, I think she expected another pedicure gift card but she was shocked to open her heavy package! Inside was Debbie’s beautifully framed, very personalized poem that eloquently said all of the things my husband and I always wanted to say but didn’t know how. As she read the poem, she laughed out loud . . . and then she cried. She was so touched! She went on and on about how awesome it was and how wonderful it made her feel. Then we reminisced about some of the stories depicted in the poem. Debbie is an artist and knew exactly what information to use. I can’t wait to give another poem and make another important person’s day!” Lauren D., Spring, TX

Debbie, I would like to take the time to thank you for doing the poem for me!!! It was something I would have never even thought of had you not been recommended to me. You were given very short notice to write this for me and I appreciate it more that I can ever tell you. You understood and were very sincere about the loss of a good friend and what I was trying to say. Yes... they may have been my thoughts and past experiences but you made it all come to life on paper. I have continued to read it many times over……
It was displayed and all that read it really loved it!!!!

Dear Debbie-
Reading your poem was like a trip through parts of our life, almost as if my husband had written it himself (ha). I can read his feelings in your words as I know when he was telling you about some of the events it was obvious his feelings for me. I am so blessed to have such a caring man and you captured our memories for us with your words. We both really love it. We're going to put it in our bedroom I think. I was reading your business card and I think you should change it to "make someone cry". By the time I got to the end the lump in my throat was huge and then of course I was bawling and blubbering.
You did a really wonderful job; I love the framing. I hope this business is a great success and I'll pass the word around.

Have you heard the saying, "words cannot express how I feel?" Well Debbie was able to put into words the thoughts and dreams I have of my beautiful daughter. Her poem will always remind me of what I cherish the most. Thank you Debbie, for the elegantly presented and heartfelt poem!

Debbie, I gave my son the poem when he came home for Christmas on leave and HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. The first thing he commented on was the impressive eagle picture and the frame. He read it out loud and by the last stanza he had to pause because of the lump in his throat. He kept reading it over and over to himself and saying he had never read a poem about himself. He said he would keep it forever. Thank you for helping me express my love and pride for my son through poetry. In his words......"I am blown away."

Debbie, thank you so much for putting into words my thoughts and feelings about my sisters and in-laws. When my daughter read my in-law's out loud, I got a lump in my throat and teared up as she was about to finish it. I have always wanted to write them about how I feel but could never put it into words. My sisters are the world to me, so thank you for putting my heart on paper with your words. I also loved how you incorporated the photos. That really added a special touch.

Debbie, My wife loved the framed poem. She read it and started to cry. She called my son and daughter-in-law and had them in tears. It was perfect and I scored so many brownie points! Again, many thanks, and I hope you get lots of orders!

I personally loved the poem--it fit exactly what I wanted to express to him and it had just the right balance of humor and a sincere quality to it which conveyed what I wanted to say. You have a knack to put into poetic language just what the person wants to get across. Kudos!

Debbie, you did such an awesome job with my poem! When I e-mailed you about my best friend's birthday, I didn't know if you could put something together in just 4 days. After answering a few questions about memorable moments we shared, you managed to describe our relationship to a tee, and conveyed how great a friend she is to me. It was wonderful. When I presented the poem to her, while reading it she cried. She said it was perfect. So thank you Debbie, for the "perfect" poem!

Debbie,
My wife works for a manufacturing plant and our anniversary fell on the last day of the month, which of course is high pressure time. She was moving fast that morning, but the anniversary poem slowed her right down and put a smile on her face. She was so pleased and surprised and felt you had told our story well. Thank you for your attention to detail and poetic skill. This turned out better than anticipated.
Your new friend,
Don C., Houston, TX
